Adele is the music star who closed out 2015.

Selling over 5 million copies of her hit single ‘Hello’ and getting a record-breaking over 700 million views on YouTube, Adele’s comeback into music was a huge bang!

She covers TIME’s latest issue where she talks about the future ahead and how she created her album.

See excerpts below.

On selling millions of copies of 25 in America: It’s a bit ridiculous. I’m not even from America. Maybe they think I’m related to the Queen. Americans are obsessed with the royal family.

On being called a brand: They all use that word. It makes me sound like a fabric softener, or a packet of crisps.

On why people respond so well to her music: The fact that I’m not shy or embarrassed to be falling apart. Everyone falls apart, I think. A lot of people try to be brave and not shed a tear. Sometimes when you know someone else feels as s— as you do, or approaches things in a certain way just like you do, it makes you feel better about yourself. Even though my music is melancholy, there’s also joy in that. I hope I do bring joy to people’s lives, and not just sadness, but I think there’s there’s a comfort in it. But I honestly don’t know. If I knew, I would bottle it, and sell it to everyone else.

On social media: Privacy is key to being able to write a real record, whether people like it or not. My life has changed so much, but I’ve made the realest record I can make, and it’s the real part of me. How am I supposed to write a real record if I’m waiting for half a million likes on a f—ing photo? That ain’t real.

On maintaining a good image: Some artists, the bigger they get, the more horrible they get, and the more unlikable. I don’t care if you make an amazing album—if I don’t like you, I ain’t getting your record. I don’t want you being played in my house if I think you’re a bastard.

On being a mum: The environment in which my kid is growing up couldn’t be further away from the way I grew up. But there was never any embarrassment about showing love in my family. The other day I was saying, ‘Oh God, I’m finding this really hard again with a kid’. I have no time for myself because in between doing this, all my spare time is with him. But then I realized, he’s been keeping me totally cool and calm about the whole thing

On taking time off music for her family: I was very conscious to make sure that our bond was strong and unbreakable. I had to get to that point before I’d come back.

Steve Harvey announces the wrong winner Miss Universe on live TV

Miss Colombia wiped away tears of joy as the $30,000 blue diamond and topaz crown was placed upon her head and she was named Miss Universe 2015, winning the title for her country for the second year in a row. But her glory only lasted for two minutes.
Just as Ariadna Gutierrez was blowing kisses and waving to her adoring fans she was informed, on live television, that it was actually Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo who was meant to be wearing the crown.

Steve Harvey strolled up on stage, the shame already evident on his face, when he told the crowd 'Folks, I have to apologize.''The first runner-up,' he then announced. 'Is Colombia.' 'Miss Universe 2015,' Harvey then dramatically clarified, 'Is Miss Philippines.'

Miss Philippines stared wide-eyed at the audience, her lip quivering as Miss USA whispered into her ear and she realized what exactly those words meant.

Pia joined Ariadna on stage and stared into the audinece in shock, Miss Universe 2014 Paulina Vega giving her fellow countrywoman a comforting pat on the back just minutes after they had shared a victorious embrace.

'Folks let me take control of this,' Harvey told the sea of boos and cheers. 'This is exactly what's on the card,' he then said, displaying the results on the camera. 'I will take responsibility for this, it was my mistake,' he continued.

'I can show it to your right here, the first runner up is Colombia,' it's my mistake, still a great night. Please don't hold it against the ladies.'

And then came for the heartbreaking moment when Miss Colombia had to bend down, allowing Vega, Ms Universe 2014, to remove the crown and place it on Miss Philippines head instead.

The telecast then came to an abrupt stop, cutting without credits or allowing Miss Philippines to take her first walk as Miss Universe.

‘I want to apologize emphatically to Miss Philippians and Miss Columbia,’ Harvey wrote in a tweet that has since been deleted in which he spelled both of the women’s countries wrong. ‘This was a terribly honest human mistake and I am so regretful.’

Fans immediately took to social media to react to the mistake, criticizing Harvey, expressing regret for Miss Colombia and praise for Pia.

‘Hey #SteveHarvey, good thing Pablo Escobar is dead. #MissUniverse2015’, tweeted one user.

Another asked: ‘Can I hug Miss Colombia right now?’

‘I have to hand it to #PiaWurtzbach,’ wrote another. ‘She was careful w her reaction when she was called as Ms Universe. She knew a colleague was embarrassed.

A knifeman slashed a man at a busy London tube station and allegedly shouted 'this is for Syria' before being Tasered by police in what has been described by Scotland Yard as a terrorism attack.

The victim suffered serious knife injuries at Leytonstone underground station shortly after 7pm last night.

Anti-terror police are now investigating the attack after eyewitnesses claimed they could the 29-year-old man shout 'this is for Syria' and 'all of your blood will be spilled' during the terrifying attack.

Terrified children ran for safety with their parents as a victim was left on the floor of the ticket hall lying in a large pool of blood. The distressing scenes were filmed on mobile phones and posted online by onlookers.

Witnesses said that until police arrived, the knifeman, 29, attacked people at random for up to ten minutes screaming: ‘This is what happens when you f*** with mother Syria. All of your blood will be spilled.’ But one onlooker defiantly shouted back to him: 'You ain't no Muslim bruv.'

Another called out: 'Drop it, you fool.'

One victim, 56, was left with serious injuries and rushed to hospital with a police escort while two other people suffered minor wounds. None was life-threatening.

After reportedly slashing his victim's throat, the man allegedly threatened several other passengers before being confronted by a number of unarmed police officers.

The officers ordered the man to drop his weapon, who continued to wave the large knife.

One video shows the man lunge towards the police, with witnesses shouting 'he's stabbed someone'.

One of the officers reportedly shouted 'Taser, Taser, Taser' before discharging the weapon.

It is understood the man needed several bolts of electricity before he collapsed to the ground.

The incident has now been handed over to the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Command.

The victim suffered serious, non life-threatening knife wounds while two others were injured.

Head of Scotland Yard's Counter Terrorism unit, Commander Richard Walton said; 'We are treating this as a terrorist incident. I would urge the public to remain calm, but alert and vigilant.

'The threat from terrorism remains at severe, which means that a terrorist attack is highly likely.

'I would appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of Leytonstone underground station earlier this evening at around 7pm who saw anything suspicious to call the anti-terror hotline on 0800 789 321.

'Anyone who may have captured video or photographic footage of the incident is also urged to make contact with the Counter Terrorism Command via the Anti Terror hotline.'

A Number 10 spokesperson said: 'There is an ongoing police investigation into tonight's attack in London. We are monitoring the situation closely as further details emerge.'

The stabbing was the first Jihadi attack in London since the murder of soldier Lee Rigby in May 2013.

Eyewitness Laurynas Godvisa said: ‘I was going to Leytonstone station dressed to go to Christmas dinner with people from work. As I walked down I just saw a lot of people running but I ignored it and kept walking to get my train, but suddenly I couldn’t believe my eyes – I saw I guy with a knife and a guy on the floor.

A defiant East Londoner has been filmed condemning the knifeman who carried out a knife attack 'for Syria' at Leytonstone underground station, dismissing the killer as not being a true Muslim.
'You ain't no Muslim bruv,' the witness can repeatedly be heard saying as he watched the attacker being pinned to the ground by police.
The powerful statement has been widely quoted on social media with many people saying the man's actions represented only the work of a killer rather than someone showing their support for Syria.

‘I was so scared I ran for my life. After a good ten to 15 minutes police came and got the guy and arrested him. And as he was coming out, he said, “This is what happens when you f*** with mother Syria. All of your blood will be spilled”.’
Astonishingly, bystanders filmed clips on mobile phones and immediately uploaded them to Twitter to show the aftermath of the rampage and the knifeman’s tense stand-off with police.
One short film showed a man dressed in dark clothing lying on the floor in a pool of blood. Families with children dashed across the ticket hall within yards of the machete-wielding man, as concerned bystanders shouted at them to get away.
Incredibly, others including an elderly man holding a carrier bag walked past the attacker to continue their journey, seemingly oblivious to the danger and the pool of blood where one victim was slashed.
Moments later a group of policemen in anti-stab vests rushed to the scene and challenged the knifeman to put down his machete.
